The Arboretum maintains an office building, restrooms, a plumbing system (including public-accessible potable water), a wooded picnic area, and an education building. These facilities are open to the public and are located near the entrance to the Arboretum. Our one-of-a-kind White Oak Pavilion is used for education programs and events, and is available to rent during the warmer months of the year.

White Oak Pavilion

Built in 2005, the White Oak Pavilion is available for weddings, anniversaries, and gatherings, including Celebration of Life and memorials. Please visit Weddings and Rentals to find out more about renting the pavilion.

Arboretum Office

Completed in 2002, the office is located southeast of the west parking lot, down the gravel driveway that is flush with the main entrance road. This beautiful cedar-sided building on stilts is our administrative hub and also is a great place to get information about the Arboretum, become a member, and shop our t-shirts, nature guides and other gifts. Office hours are 10am – 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Education Building

Our Education Building is utilized in conjunction with events, workshops and Discovery Tours. The Education Building is the meeting place for many of our Walks and Workshops events, and serves as the base camp for the spring and fall Discovery Tours for elementary school classes. Located downhill and southwest of the parking lot, the Education Building houses our resident turtle “Geronimo” and has microscopes for exploring tiny seeds and bugs, tactile exhibits, reference books, and a working viewable bee hive.
